High lipase breastmilk
What is high lipase? How do I know if I have it? What do I do about it?
I have been a postpartum nurse for 7 years and had my first baby two years ago. I thought I would be prepared for my breastfeeding journey based on my experience, but I ended up facing a multitude of challenges including nipple shields, blebs, clogged ducts, slow weight gain, triple feeding, nipple pain, and exclusive pumping. Safe to say I have learned a lot during this time! After a difficult start to my breastfeeding journey, my experience encouraged me to become a certified lactation consultant so I could better help my postpartum patients.
My passion has become educating pregnant and breastfeeding mamas on everything breastfeeding, using evidence based practices to make every breastfeeding journey a more positive experience. I am so glad you found my website and I hope I can help you on your breastfeeding journey!
