Hi, my name is Hannah

Letโ€™s tackle this beautiful journey of breastfeeding together!!

I have been a postpartum nurse for 7 years and had my first baby two years ago. I thought I would be prepared for my breastfeeding journey based on my experience, but I ended up facing a multitude of challenges including nipple shields, blebs, clogged ducts, slow weight gain, triple feeding, nipple pain, and eventually exclusive pumping. Safe to say I learned a lot during my first breastfeeding journey. My experience encouraged me to become a Certified Lactation Consultant so I could better help my postpartum patients. Shortly after I got my CLC I began the Instagram page @your.breast_friend in order to bring what I had learned to more breastfeeding mothers!

My passion has become educating pregnant and breastfeeding mamas on everything breastfeeding, using evidence based practices to make every breastfeeding journey a more positive experience. I am so glad you found my page and I hope I can help you on your breastfeeding journey!
